SECURITY MEASURES STRENGTHENED AT PURI SRIMANDIR TO RESTRICT NON-HINDU ENTRY. TWO PRATIHARI SEBAYATS TO GUARD SINGHDWARA DURING MORNING AND EVENING HOURS.

Starting April 14, Puri’s Srimandir will enhance security measures by stationing two Pratihari servitors at Singhadwara during morning and evening hours, aiming to prevent non-Hindu entry. This move, initiated in the first phase, will later extend to guarding all four gates of the temple, as confirmed by Pratihari Nijoga secretary Ramnarayan Gochikar. The decision aligns with efforts to preserve the sanctity of the sacred site and uphold traditional practices. It reflects the temple’s commitment to maintaining religious protocols while ensuring the spiritual integrity of the premises remains intact.
