AIIMS BHUBANESWAR COLLABORATES WITH CHANG GUNG UNIVERSITY, TAIWAN FOR ADVANCING HEALTHCARE WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
In a significant move towards enhancing healthcare, AIIMS Bhubaneswar is set to partner with Chang Gung University (CGU), Taiwan, to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for improved patient care and health management. Executive Director Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Biswas expressed enthusiasm for this collaboration, highlighting the importance of AI in disease prediction and emergency treatment.
Prof. Prasan Kumar Sahoo, from CGU, discussed AI applications with AIIMS Bhubaneswar faculty, emphasizing its role in analyzing medical images and predicting diseases like ischemic stroke and cancer. The collaboration aims to advance research on AI’s utilization in diagnosis and therapeutics, promising better healthcare outcomes.
