In a significant breakthrough, the Bhubaneswar Urban Police Department (UPD) has successfully dismantled an organized gang of ‘Fake Police’ comprising nine members originally from Madhya Pradesh, famously known as the Irani Gang. The gang members were involved in a series of criminal activities including cheating, snatching, and other illicit acts, totaling to 11 cases.
The modus operandi employed by the gang, along with details of the arrests and the items seized during the operation, have been disclosed by the authorities. This successful crackdown underscores the importance of vigilance among citizens, urging them to promptly report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
