Tech giant Google has unveiled significant restructuring plans, potentially resulting in job cuts, as reported. Ruth Porat, Google’s Chief Financial Officer, addressed employees through a memo, highlighting the company’s need to adapt amidst a transformative phase in the tech sector, particularly with the advent of AI. Porat expressed regret over bidding farewell to some talented colleagues, acknowledging the difficulty of change.
