The upcoming Bhubaneswar Metro project is set to transform the city’s transportation landscape, with plans for market complexes at all 20 elevated stations along its route. Scheduled for Phase-I, the project will connect Bhubaneswar airport to Trisulia Square in Cuttack. Tender openings are expected in the second week of June. The Metro’s route will feature stops at key locations like Capital Hospital, Rajmahal, and Xavier Square, among others. These market complexes will house shops and restaurants, enhancing the overall commuting experience. The initiative aims to streamline urban mobility and boost economic activity in the region.
