NHAI IMPLEMENTS ‘ONE VEHICLE, ONE FASTAG’ NORM EFFECTIVE APRIL 1 TO CURB MISUSE
  • PublishedMay 25, 2024

Starting April 1, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) enforces the ‘One Vehicle, One FASTag’ rule, aiming to deter the misuse of FASTags. This regulation discourages linking a single FASTag to multiple vehicles or vice versa. Following the RBI’s directive, Paytm Payments Bank Ltd customers were advised to switch accounts by March 15. This measure intends to prevent penalties or duplicate charges on National Highways.
