In response to the scorching heatwave conditions, the Odisha government has declared an early summer vacation for school students. Effective from April 25, 2024, all government and aided schools will close for the annual break. Additionally, morning classes will be held from 6:30 am to 10:30 am until April 24, 2024. This decision aims to ensure the well-being of students amidst rising temperatures. The announcement comes as a precautionary measure to safeguard students from the adverse effects of extreme heat.
