Bhubaneswar’s Svetlana Mahapatra has achieved a significant milestone by earning the esteemed fellowship of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA), London. A versatile talent, Mahapatra excels as a researcher, model, and social media influencer, with additional expertise as a technology consultant for a multinational corporation. Her remarkable contributions to social progress and development have earned her this prestigious fellowship, placing her among a distinguished group of 30,000 innovators, artists, writers, and activists recognized by the RSA since its inception in 1754. Mahapatra’s academic prowess, holding an MBA from XIMB and a B.Tech from IIIT-Bhubaneswar, coupled with her recognition as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, highlights her exceptional achievements. Notably, her research paper on ‘Detection Procedures for Digital Mammograms’ has garnered acclaim, cited over 200 times by esteemed professors worldwide. Additionally, Mahapatra has made strides in the fashion industry, gracing prestigious platforms like the IIFA Fashion Awards (2023) and International Fashion Week (2022).
