TECH GIANT TCS HIRES OVER 10,000 FRESHERS AMID LAYOFFS. THE COMAPNY SEEMS TO BE LOOKING FORWARD TO ONBOARDING NEW TALENT.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has recently recruited over 10,000 fresh graduates in its latest hiring spree, as reported by Moneycontrol. The company has significantly increased its recruitment efforts, anticipating a resurgence in demand during this fiscal year.
In a recent announcement, TCS revealed that it commenced hiring fresh talent through the National Qualifier Test (NQT), with applications accepted until April 10. The scheduled tests for April 26 will target three distinct categories: Ninja, with an annual salary package of Rs 3.36 lakh for various roles, and Digital and Prime, offering annual packages ranging from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9-11.5 lakh.
The report indicates that individuals selected for Digital and Prime profiles will be assigned to development roles, whereas those in Ninja profiles will undertake support roles.
Previously, TCS had outlined its intention to onboard 40,000 fresh graduates in FY24, following the addition of 22,600 employees during FY23.
