WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE LEVEL OF CONSTRUCTION AND PLANNING OF SUCH HIGH END FACILITIES IN INDIA.

The world’s largest floating solar plant in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district suffered damage due to a recent storm. Located at the Omkareshwar Dam backwaters, the plant, a joint venture of NHDC and the state government, was hit during a summer storm. NHDC subdivisional officer Suresh Dwivedi reported significant damage to the solar panels. Despite setbacks, officials anticipate a swift resumption of power production. The plant, incorporating innovative technology resembling hydroelectric power, utilizes floaters atop the water’s surface connected to solar panels, ensuring resilience against water flow fluctuations. NHDC managing director Vijay Kumar Sinha emphasized the importance of completing the project promptly during an inspection earlier this year.
