Vir Vikram Yadav, a 1996-Batch IAS officer, assumes the role of Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in Puri, Odisha. The appointment, announced by the Law Department, will be effective upon Yadav assuming office. He replaces Ranjan Kumar Das, a 2007-Batch IAS officer, who held the position previously. Yadav’s additional duties as the new Chief Administrator come amidst his current responsibilities. The change in leadership at one of India’s most significant religious institutions reflects administrative shifts aimed at enhancing governance and management strategies within the temple precincts.
