Recent studies show the alarming health risks associated with instant noodle consumption. These seemingly convenient meals have been linked to severe ailments including cancer, hypertension, kidney damage, and stomach ulcers. Furthermore, they disrupt hormonal balance and can trigger irregular menstruation.
In a study conducted by the Consumer Council, potential cancer-causing chemicals, such as 3-MCPD and glycidol, were detected in 17 out of 19 samples of pre-packaged fried and non-fried instant noodles, including their seasoning packets and toppings. This revelation raises concerns about the safety of widely consumed instant noodle products.
